As a concept From This Day was born in November 2015.
So what took us so long to say HELLO! WE ARE HERE!?
There has been much work in the pipelines and behind the scenes in between keeping up with our existing client work (and we always put clients first). We have been branding, and then rebranding, having website v1, bidding for work, then website v2, working out our business processes, winning work, losing bids: basically just working very hard!
In November 2016 there was a sense of disbelief that it was a whole year since inception and we weren’t ready to officially launch. Horror ensued but try as I might I could never clear my desk enough to get our website off the ground and launch, and whenever I had time Ivanna was up to her eyeballs!
The whole process has given me insight into difficulties faced by my clients putting their own website content together. I am now even more in awe of the decisiveness of some clients, especially those with young families of 3, you know who you are!
And of course, “with great power comes great responsibility!”. We could approach our own website in any way we wanted and in so many ways I wanted to do everything I could to make THE most awesome site on the planet. But should I try and do that I would be looking at writing this post in November 2020! So we are taking an agile approach and launching a site we are happy with – thinking always about the extra awesome we can add later!
